Summers (Cable)
was infected by
Apocalypse with the techno-organic virus, he was taken millennium into
the future by the Mother Askani, in hopes of curing his infection. To
ensure that the child would survive to fulfill a promised prophecy believed
by the Askani, Summers was cloned. The techno-organic virus was not cured in the infant Summers, but halted from spreading further. When Apocalypse and his forces discovered the Askani's hiding place he found and abducted the infant clone raising him to become the man known as Stryfe. |
