Origin
Bored with the mundane peace of 30th century Earth, Nathaniel Richards turned his intellect towards the endeavors of conquest.

In his time traveling adventures he had assumed multiple identities.

Being aware of the existence of ancient Egyptian mutant En Sabah Nur (Apocalypse), Richards traveled over 5000 years into the past, assuming the role of Pharaoh Rama-Tut.

While in ancient Egypt he also encountered the time-traveling Fantastic Four.  Failing to recruit the most powerful mutant in history, he fled back to his own time to regroup.

His next confrontation with heroes was with his most common enemies the Avengers, as both Kang the Conqueror and the Scarlet Centurion.  He would battle the Avengers many times, facing apparent defeat.

As his future-self Immortus, he would also confront the Avengers, but with more successful results of manipulation.

Conquering countless timelines the ultimate motivations of Richards have always seemed uncertain, although the motivations of a master of time may seem incongruous to those living in the present without the gift of perpetual hind-sight.  Regardless of the identity he assumes, one thing is certain of a master of time, he will always persevere if not prevail.
