| Origin | |
| The
official government record released to the public labeled Emil Blonsky a spy
and saboteur that infiltrated the Air Force base in New Mexico
where Dr. Robert Bruce Banner (Hulk
II) conducted his experiments with
Gamma Radiation. In fact Blonsky was the civilian in charge of General "Thunderbolt" Ross' military staff tasked with exploring the potential of Gamma Radiation. After the transformation of Dr. Banner into the Hulk, Blonsky became obsessed with possessing a similar power - an obsession for which he was willing to risk death. Like Dr. Banner, Blonsky was at first able to reverse the transformation, but he would eventually mutate to a point that reflected his dark soul making him unable to revert back to humanity from the form of the monster called the Abomination. |
