sole survivor of an auto accident that took the life of her father and
brother, and blamed for
the deaths by her mother, who believed her possessed by the devil, Frankie
Kane had a less than happy childhood. Her mother's notion that she was possessed began when items around their home began to fly around the bewildered teen. In truth the phenomena was being caused by the split-personality villain known as Dr. Polaris, in an attempt to use Kane's latent abilities to escape the dimension he was trapped in after a battle against Green Lantern II. Desiring to rid herself of her magnetic abilities, Kane consulted scientist at S.T.A.R. Labs, but an unscrupulous doctor manipulated her mind creating a lethal split personality called Magenta. |
