is the son of
Darkseid, the
ruler of
Apokolips and the sorceress Suli, whom Darkseid secretly married
against the wishes of his mother Queen Heggra. After he was born, Queen
Heggra had the torturer Desaad poison Suli, and forced Darkseid to
marry Tigra, who bore his son
Orion.
Orion was traded to the Gods of New Genesis as part of a peace treaty.
Kalibak was trained in Apolikips's Special Powers Force
to become the ultimate warrior and to one day lead the charge against his
brother Orion and the Gods of New Genesis. |
