who had custody of his grandson Bart Allen (Impulse
II) grew frustrated of attempting to bring the
boy to his side in a family feud between the Thawne and Allen families. Losing custody of the boy he initiated a backup plan. Splicing Bart Allen's DNA with his own he created a clone, which was grown in a artificial womb. Every step of the clone's physical and mental development was carefully calculated until he reached adolescence. His mission was to follow Bart Allen back in time and challenge him as Inertia. |
