| Origin | |
| Imperiex
is a
galactic parasite of unknown origin that threatened the Earth as well as
the galaxy. An alliance forged between enemies: Superman, President Lex Luthor and the dread leader of Apokolips known as Darkseid defeated Imperiex, but at what price? Sent through a time warp to the origin of the Universe, Imperiex was destroyed, but at a cost yet unmeasured. The explosion surely caused a harmonic imbalance leading to the creation of multiple realties and infinite Earths, and what of Imperiex? Has his last chapter been written? A being of pure energy, he can never truly be destroyed, and yet may return and bring about a Crisis on Infinite Earths. |
