body. The symbiote has the ability to dampen Spider-Man's sixth sense
and track its offspring.
Note: The Symbiote may not be inherently
evil, but instead mimics the emotions of its host. Mulligan is an
upstanding citizen with respect for the law and the lives of others.

| Like the symbiotic
organism that came before it,
Carnage gave spawn to an
offspring of its own - implanting it within a host to give it sustenance and
substance. Unlike previous mergers the young symbiote merged with a
human that would focus its abilities toward more honorable goals, police
officer Pat Mulligan. Although Mulligan has his own
demons to battle, he is a man of honor who with a sense of purpose utilizes
the symbiote to battle against superhuman criminals as Toxin. |
