| Origin | |
| The niece
and business partner of Dr. John Henry Irons (Steel
II), Natasha Irons
used to live with her mother in Washington, DC. After a gang war in their
neighborhood forced her uncle to go public with his secret identity, the
family went into hiding through the witness protection. Natasha moved with her uncle to Jersey and later relocated to Metropolis to study and aid Irons with his work at his factory -Steelworks. Before Dr. Irons retired from using his Steel armor he built an armor for his niece which enabled her to use her technical skills and bravery to protect the city as Steel. After a falling out with her uncle, Irons was no longer able to access her Steel armor. Determined to be a superhero she volunteered for Lex Luthor's "Everyman Project" designed to grant superpowers to average citizens - becoming the luminescent Starlight. |
