| Origin | |
| An
orphan named Charles Victor Szasz drifted for a
while as a young man before setting into a career as a television
journalist assuming the name Vic Sage. Outspoken about the ills of crime and corruption he desired to take a more direct hand in fighting injustice. His friendship with a professor lead the two men to create a masked identity for Sage. Utilizing a special chemical designed to alter the color of pre-treated clothing and hair and a mask which totally hid the features of the wearer, Sage began his crime-fighting career as the man without a face called the Question. |
