of six children that were born of patients of the gynecologist Dr.
Benjamin Love who injected his patients with an experimental mutagenic
drug, the child only known as Mr. Bones was born with invisible
flesh. Bones and his fellow genomorphs were abducted from the hospital as infants by Dr. Love and raised in seclusion at his dessert home in California. Years later, after the apparent death of Dr. Love the teens learned their origin from his diaries. Having grown watching television news stories of the Justice Society they created costumes for themselves and assumed the name Helix. With no means of support Helix committed robberies and eventually kidnapping for ransom. The young villains made the mistake of kidnapping Hippolyta Hall (Fury II) which prompted a rescue by her teammates in Infinity Inc., an altercation which would cost Bones his left leg. Considering the circumstances of his upbringing, Mr. Bones was remanded into the custody of Infinity Inc.'s leader Sylvester Pemberton (Skyman). After the decommission of Infinity Inc., Mr. Bones later resurfaced as the director of the U.S. Government metahuman police force known as the Department of Extranormal Operations. |
