| A
sneak thief, Richard Dragon attempted to steal a valuable jade Buddha from
a Kyoto, Japan residence. Discovered, Dragon's crime was stopped by
an old man and his student. Rendered helpless and humiliated, Dragon
accepted the old man's offer to train him in the martial arts. The
old man who would become known to Dragon as O-Sensei saw a possible
destiny of greatness in the young thief.
After years of training Dragon became a master of the martial arts and friends with O-Sensei's student Benjamin Turner (Bronze Tiger). Dragon became a man of peace dedicated to use his martial arts skills only when reason failed. Dragon eventually settled into the life of a martial arts instructor in New York, but destiny sought him out and he often traveled the world battling for the cause of justice as a Kung-Fu Fighter. |
