Origin
Eons ago on a planet in an other-dimensional universe lived a glorious race of beings known only as the Old Gods.  In their twilight, legends tell of a great war that unleashed powers that split the world in two.

From the catastrophic ruins of the Old Gods rose two planets.  Taking form over the ages both evolved humanoid beings with very different natures.

On the planet known as New Genesis a noble race imbued with the living atoms of the Old God Balduur gave rise.  On the other rose a race saturated with the cunning and evil of an Old God sorceress, this planet of darkness and decay would be known as Apokolips - giving rise to the races known as the New Gods.
