| Origin | |
| Solis
was a childhood friend of
Orion. Along with their older friend
Metron the three young gods went to investigate a large hole on the
surface of New Genesis. They discovered within an outpost of enemy
soldiers from the planet Apokolips, who had been transformed into beings
of solar energy. The trio was discovered by the soldiers and Sollis
was bombarded with blasts of solar energy. Although rescued, Solis lay in a coma for months. After the efforts of Metron, Solis revived with abilities to control the powers of solar radiation. Mastering his new powers he took the name Lightray. |
