What Happened
Separated from its human host, Hal Jordan, the Spectre becomes an entity obsessed with vengeance and the destruction of all magic in the universe.

An unwilling alliance of magically based, mostly heroes, decided that instead of waiting for the Spectre to find and destroy them they would go down fighting.
